This is a reproduction of the famous "Sgt. Hack Wants You For U.S. Army" t-shirt that was used as a recruiting tool in the early '70s by Sgt. David Hack (CEO of US Wings), who was the nation's #1 US Army recruiter from 1969-1973. This was an especially remarkable feat considering America's involvement in the Vietnam War & the strong anti-war climate of the '60s and '70s. In fact, the t-shirt was one of many unorthodox recruiting tools used by Sarge to reach out to potential enlistees. His unconventional methods garnered much local & national media attention and made this t-shirt quite popular; many celebrities and other notables from across the country wore this shirt!
Now, after 40 years (the original t-shirts date back to 1971) we are offering a reproduction of this shirt, silkscreened onto high quality heavy-weight tees, and making them available worldwide! A nostalgic blast from the past that looks great on both men & women, boys & girls! Colors: white, ash gray (light gray) or cream. Silkscreened in the USA. Available in adult & kid sizes.

These ultra luxurious double pique polo shirts are softer and 45% thicker than ordinary pique polos -- without adding any additional weight! The pique weave on the outside combined with the smooth interlock feel inside makes these high-end polos stronger, longer wearing, and super comfortable. They're made from extra-soft 7 oz. 100% combed cotton (heather gray polo is 90% cotton/10% poly) and feature a relaxed fit (a generous cut across the chest, at the arm seam, and in length for true freedom of movement), double-needle top stitching, wood-tone buttons, extended tail, reinforced placket, and the famous "Sgt.
